Our family owned excavating firm has been operating in northeastern Illinois
for three generations. Having grown up in the business I have experience
in all aspects of the trade. The Nissen Excavating crew is competent,
dedicated and have over 100 years of combined experience. Services we offer, but are not limited to are: demolition, foundation excavation, sewer, water, grading, septic systems, and trucking.

Our reputation for quality and timely completion precedes us. We are
routinely called by Lake County Health Department, the Illinois Dept of Natural Resources, and various local municipalities to perform utility repairs and miscellaneous site work at their facilities. The scope of work necessary for subdivisions is routine for our employees. Nissen Excavating, can be there in the beginning to clear land and prep for roads, as well as excavate foundations, install sewer and water mainlines, or laterals and finish with the final grading
of yards.
